On Andrea:
Top: Double Cross Studded Top, Fox-Out
Shorts: Cross Over Denim Shorts, Fox-Out
Bracelet: Stoned Cuff Bracelet, Fox-Out
Ear Cuff: Exquisite Skull Stud & Ear Cuffs, Fox-Out
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell Litas (Model's own)

As I don't post all of the lookbooks I shoot, I thought maybe I'd like to feature one of the looks I recently shot for Fox-Out. You can check out the rest of the lookbook I shot for them on their Facebook page!

If you know me in person, I'm not someone who dresses up much. But this is an outfit that I'd love to wear for a casual day out, because it is just so badass and chic at the same time. A studded top paired with cut offs and Litas, definitely a Nasty Gal-inspired look which I love!

Model is Andrea Chong from 1blog2lives, who's also a show host for That F Word on clicknetwork.

As a way of saying thank you for supporting my work, here's a free preset for you to download!
I hope you enjoy it! Just some usual ethics:

1. Credit if you use!
2. Do not redistribute for profit; and
3. Don't hesitate to share how it turns out on your photos! I'd love to see them :)

The atlantic blue curve gives a slight vintage tone on brighter photos, and leaves a blue tint in your shadows. Best used on photos with dark and neutral tones. ♥

Here's another lookbook I shot for Thread Theory last month. This was shot in the style of the recently popular Korean lookbooks, and edited with simple and clean presets. I thought shooting indoors with natural light was going to be a challenge, but I was blessed with good light throughout. So thank God, and I hope you enjoy the photos! :)

P.S. Curve release (Atlantic Blue) as promised will come in a separate post after this! x

(Continued from part i...)

We chatted on our way out, and not-so-surprisingly the trek out seemed so much shorter. We took a cab back to her place and chilled for a while. Her mom is really lovely and beautiful by the way, and Jade showed me some videos that she'd made on her own. Such a talented young lady. Time was soon up, and I had to make my way to Central to meet Gail (Gail Shamon, if you don't already know who she is. Her works are wonderful so check them out!).

I admired the stunning scenery Hong Kong had to offer as I took the bus back. I can't wait to show you some of my travel photos that I took there! I spent the evening with Gail and had dinner at her place, and then ice cream by the ferry terminal before I headed back to the hotel. It was probably only less than two hours, but I already love the Shamon family. :)

Wow, looking back, about 4 months have passed already! I miss Hong Kong... and I can't wait to be back again!

I'm giving out free curves again! If you look at the side bar under "Happenings!", there's a preview of my new curves, Atlantic Blue. It will be available for download when we reach 1700!

So keep your eyes peeled! xxx

I did a shoot in Hong Kong with the lovely Jade the day after my birthday just a couple of months ago. I went to her home in the morning to pick some outfits, and gosh her place is absolutely breathtaking... Think white, spacious, and a balcony that looks out to the sea! Easily my dream home, haha.

I've always wanted to shoot at a waterfall, so Jade brought me to this really magical place. The trek in was really long, but it was well worth it. Believe me when I say she has a really adventurous soul. She climbed over rocks and waded in the water so quickly like it was nothing. I've never had an experience like that before (not with the limited nature Singapore has to offer), and with a camera around my neck, I was very wary of my steps. She was so spontaneous with posing and getting up on high rocks, it was really such a joy spending the afternoon with her.

For our last set, we had to walk along a narrow trail, and climb down a cliff front-faced to get to the main waterfall. I was so scared of losing my footing and falling all the way down but thankfully I managed the whole thing alive. :b More on the rest of the day in my next post... And well, I'm so glad the pictures all turned out great!

(To be continued in part ii of this series, which I will post tomorrow!)

Meanwhile, I'm giving out free curves again! If you look at the side bar under "Happenings!", there's a preview of my new curves, Atlantic Blue. It will be available for download when we reach 1700!

PS. I love you all!
