My first night shoot shot in the early days of the year where we laid on the roads, sat amongst the massive flower pots along the highway, drank on the job (haha) and walked under the moonlight.

This is a story for the broken hearted. Don't ever give up on yourself, because every end is a new beginning. ♥

P.S. I have so, so, so much more to show you all! It's my recess week in school and I just cleared about 30GB of edits in a day. Have about 80GB more to go (I really need some extra space on my Mac)! While I might not release the images on my blog, you can head over to Noel's to see photos from our shoot! Say hello to bad boy!

Here's three rows of film shot over 3 months (August, December till early January this year - a hiatus in between because of college) and an unintentional attempt to make Singapore look like a foreign land... which is not bad an attempt right? /chuckles :j

I realised I've never posted any film photos on this blog before; so if you guys want to see past sets, you can check them out here! I've always loved film (and the shutter sound of my AE-1) and I'll pick film over digital any day. :)

Cameras: Canon AE-1 Program, Ultra Wide & Slim (Usagi)

I hope you enjoy it! Just some usual ethics:
1. Credit if you use!
2. Do not redistribute for profit; and
3. Don't hesitate to share how it turns out on your photos! I'd love to see them :)

This is for all of you, who have given me your undying support and love. For those who've voted for me (or even nominated me?!) for the Nuffnang Blog Awards ♥ Without all of you, I wouldn't have the courage to continue what I'm doing or even reach out for more. Thank you so much :')

Happy new year, may the year bring us more beautiful photographs and memories.
Also, thank you for over 700 likes on my Facebook page! xxx

The royalty curve gives a splash of vibrancy to your photos, adding a somewhat gold-ish pop and some contrast to enhance details. Best used on adequately lit photos and sunkissed skin. ♥

This was shot in the humid days of December, in collaboration with Jonathan Liu, who did the black & white shots while I, colour. Check out his photos of Jessica here! Also I must give a shout out to Beckii, who owns really awesome designer clothes and whom is kind enough to lend us a couple for this shoot! (The pieces you see here include Alexander Wang and Marc Jacobs!) And also to Eunice for the make up and Sophie for helping me with this post. :)

On a side note, I did my first studio shoot for a client yesterday with a really brilliant team, it was pretty fun! Will upload behind-the-scenes photos on my Facebook sometime or even blog about it!

Anddddd, I'm sorry to disappoint, but unfortunately I'm really busy at the moment and I haven't really prepared the curves. It will be up in a couple of days, I promise! XX

(A continuation of en pointe part i)

Pointe shoes are easily my most favourite object (other than my camera) in the world - they make ballerinas look so... ethereal. Back to the pointe, I've always dreamt of owning a pointe shoe myself; sometimes I wish I'd learn ballet when I was younger... But I know I'll never be as elegant as these girls will be.

So! I've been working on more photos to show you guys - and not forgetting the short film which I'm supposed to get down to! The school term's gonna be starting again soon so expect a little more sporadic updates.

And of course, I remember that I promised a little print/curves giveaway (I'm still undecided) to thank you guys for your support for the Nuffnang thingamajig and as a little new year gift!

Till then, happy new year and I hope 2012 treats all of you with the best it's got xx
